Youth Exchange To Cyprus In July 2022

In July 2022, 50 young basketball players from Norway and Cyprus came together for an incredible exchange. Boys and girls from Ullern BC (born in 2005 and 2006) traveled to Cyprus to meet their peers from Keravnos BC, creating a unique opportunity to learn, play, and grow together.

The exchange took place in the beautiful Cypriot mountains, where participants spent a week immersed in basketball and meaningful workshops. The workshops focused on self-awareness, breathing techniques, collaboration, effective communication, and the importance of active listening. These sessions not only improved their skills on and off the court but also encouraged personal growth and teamwork.

Beyond the basketball court, the week was a cultural journey. The Norwegian players had the chance to experience Cypriot traditions, cuisine, and hospitality, while both groups shared their perspectives on life and sport. Friendships flourished as the players bonded over shared experiences, learning from each other's styles of living, thinking, and playing basketball.

This exchange highlighted the unifying power of sports and left everyone inspired, enriched, and eager for future opportunities to connect and grow.

Unforgettable Exchange In Norway In Arpil 2022

In April 2022, 36 girls from Ullern BC and Keravnos BC reunited in Norway for an amazing follow-up to our previous exchange in Cyprus. The week was packed with fun and meaningful activities, strengthening the bonds between the participants.

We played training games, enjoyed lively practices, and spent time getting to know each other even better. The Cypriot girls experienced the magic of a Norwegian winter, with snow-covered landscapes, sledding, and a cozy barbecue. Workshops focused on teamwork, communication, respect, and inclusion added depth to the exchange.

A highlight of the trip was a train journey to Lillehammer, where participants got a taste of Norwegian culture through sunny weather, dog sledding, and exciting activities.

This exchange left everyone with cherished memories and stronger friendships, showcasing the power of sports and collaboration to bring people together.
